Teacher's Lounge

[Bailey]

Between the two schools was a small extension that connected the two school campuses. That small extension was a small building with one large room and a few bathrooms. A large desk with the walls having a bunch of white boards and an overhead projector hanging on the top. On the side there was a cabinet within there was a bunch of files on all the stories. Resting on top of said cabinet was a coffee maker, accompanied with cream and sugar to the side.

Up against the wall there was a vending machine for sodas and next to it was a vending machine for snacks!

The chairs were large, black, and had great padding. Teachers need to relax? Chill here!!!

[Bailey]

Bailey walked inside the empty lounge and made his way towards the coffee maker. At first he decided to have a cup of coffee but now that he thought about it, he would rather drink something sweet instead. He walked towards the vending machine and put in some spare change and got a bottle of sparkling lemonade. Lemonade by itself was good, but SPARKLING? That's just awesome. He turned the cap slightly to allow all the carbonation to slip out, giving that distinct sssssssstttttt noise from any carbonated drink. He then pulled up a black chair. It was comfortable and reclined but sitting in an empty room wasn't much fun.

Man, being a teacher is great and all but when you're not teaching it's pretty boring.

[Kazuki]

You got that right, and many teachers didn't even check in Q3Q))

It was a long day at PE and Kazuki needed to relax after his students pretty much disappointed him, he wished he could meet someone that was actually good in sports. He remembered one of his fellow teachers mentioning a lounge right between the rivaling schools, it was probably somewhere in the city since Teokis was so far North. He walks into the little building, hoping to see a teacher or two from his own school, but no, it was guy he hadn't seen before. Must be a Rekuza teacher.

He was about to say something, but decided not to and made himself a cup of coffee. He pulled out a chair of his own, sitting opposite side from the Uxie. He glared at him, sipping his coffee...

[Bailey]

Bailey took a sip of the sparkling lemonade, the carbonated bubbled danced around in the bottle. His head turned towards the lovely gentleman across from him and flashed a meek smile. He recognized the Zorua considering he was well acquainted with the superintendant that ran both the schools. It always confused Bailey why the super decided to open two schools at once but he's one not to pry. Bailey did not exactly mind the harsh glares albeit he was quite curious about it's intent. "Tough day of teaching, Mr. Kazuki?" he inquired amiably.

[Kazuki]

Surprise flashed through Kazuki's eyes, how did this guy know him?? He had to admit, this fellow was formitable. Not wanting to give away anything, he ignored the question, "I see you know me...but I do not know you.." he couldn't even force a smile, he didn't like Rekuza much, the school or its teachers, the best students always preferred the more luxurious school instead of his own run-down, old one. He hated that. "You are..?"

[Bailey]

Kazuki's blatant dodge from Bailey's question. Instead, he looked apologetic. "Oh excuse me," he said with a hint of surprise. "My name is Bailey," he stated. He took another sip of his delicious drink and pondered about the two schools. Personally he didn't mind teaching in either school, he was just placed in Rekuza.

{ I thought that Rekuza and Teokis are same in terms of quality, just that Rekuza was larger? }

[Kazuki]

"Well its a pleasure to meet you Bailey~" Kazuki managed to spit the words out, he tried to smile sweetly but instead it was so forced, that he somehow mixed it with his attack Scary Face. Kazuki breaths out, calming himself, maybe he could chat a bit, see what kind of students were in Rekuza, he wouldn't be able to tell the difference if he had met one in the streets.

"I suppose your school got a lot of bright students~" he started casually, his expression more calmer now, as he becomes less tense and his smile more gentle. "I teach Physical Education, you~?"

[Technically, Rekuza is Larger, but Rekuza is a rich/new school, while Teokis is Poor/very old and in the middle of the forest. Maybe I wasn't clear in the school's info, but it was easy to see that Rekuza was more favorable ^^]

[Bailey]

Bailey chuckled mentally was Mr. Kazuki struggled to smile. Perhaps Bailey was a bit more intimidating than he thought? Hopefully not, he didn't think he was at least! But enough of that, he could worry about appearances any other time! He was supposed to be conversing with this fine gentleman. "I haven't really gotten to know my students," Bailey said sounding disappointed. "They didn't seem quite as interested in my lesson as I had hoped, but then again, reading over a syllabus is quite dull," he said, his voice trailing off at the end. Even his first student-friend he made had fallen a sleep in his own class! Maybe he really was a boring teacher...

[Kazuki]

Kazuki took a sip of his coffee, it needed a bit more milk...he was only half listening to Bailey. "I know what you mean..." he sympathised with the Uxie, "My students are just not into it...I wish they were more motivated..." he sighed. Remembering the way they played dodge ball, they kept apologizing to each other and throwing the ball weakly. He remembered a time where the students would shout with joy and determination when they competed in sports. "Are you new to LaRousse or something, I've been her for a while and never saw you around.."

[Bailey]

"Children these days are very hard to understand," he said in agreement to Mr. Kazuki. Then again as each year passes by you can't expect cookie cutter students. That would be rather disturbing. "New to LaRousse?" he repeated. "Not exactly, I've been around here and there for quite some time." 'Quite some time' is definetly an understatement considering he's been around even before LaRousse was even built. Good god, Bailey is so old. Thank goodness he was an Uxie and that he didn't age. If he did, he would probably be a bag of sand by now.

[Kazuki]

"ehh~ Is that so, I was a student myself not long ago so its not like i can't understand them...They are just not interested..." Kazuki sighed, taking another sip of his coffee.

"Quite some time eh~?" He tiltled his head, looking at the Uxie with interest, "Perhaps I don't go to the City much, I would remember a guy like you if I saw you on the streets," he finished his coffee and puts the cup in the sink. "Have ya been to the battle Tower?" he asked Bailey, a slight grin on his face.

[Bailey]

Battle Tower hmm? "I tend to stray away from battling, it's just not my cup of tea," he stated plainly. Battling was just too violent for him, although he's had his fair share of battles, he wouldn't dream of considering it one of his hobbies to do in his free time. The smirk on Mr. Kazuki's face bothered Bailey somewhat although he certainly didn't show it. It would be horrible for his calm demeanor to be shattered! He certainly hoped Kazuki wasn't going to challenge him to a battle just for the fun of it! Battling isn't fun at all! At least, not according to Bailey.

[Kazuki]

"Ehh~~ Why not? Battling is natural~ Its good for the mind and body, no~?" Kazuki ventured, wondering why a Pokemon, a natural born fighter, would ever reject a good battle. He liked battling, it was a fun pastime and winning prizes were an awesome plus. But really, it was make himself stronger to protect himself from the darkness, so to speak. He approached Bailey, standing behind him, then whispering in his ear, "Why not join me for a good battle at the Tower, you know, like a greeting gesture between schools~ what do'ya say~??" he had a sinister grin on his face, he only truly wanted to test on how strong these Rekuza teachers were, you know what they say, the students learn from their teachers, best to test the teachers to get a visual feel of the student's strength.

((If Bailey were to turn around to see Kazuki, his sinister grin will turn to a sweet, innocent smile and his tail would wag~))

[Bailey]

Bailey didn't generally did not like fighting unless his two beloved siblings were threatened as well however he didn't think that telling Mr. Kazuki that would dissuade him from his quest to challenge Bailey. Still, Bailey knew he had to stand his ground. Instead Bailey replied indifferently, "It's just not my thing, is all." Bailey did not move as Mr. Kazuki approached him and whispered into his ear. He chuckled to himself. Mr. Kazuki must be quite the competitor. Still, Bailey was not convinced. Instead he turned to look Mr. Kazuki in the eye and smiled politely. "No, I think I'd rather not," he said in a cheery tone.

[Kazuki]

Kazuki flinched, though he kept his smiling face which soon turned an awkward one that lead to a long moment of silence. Kazuki backed away a bit, a tear ran down his face, he jerked, shocked and quickly wiped his tears. "aha...s-sorry, I didn't think you'd really reject...I got all excited for nothing.." he tried to stop, but only cried more.

[Bailey]

Bailey was a taken back by Mr. Kazuki's crying. Surely he wouldn't be crying just because he didn't want to battle! What on earth.... Bailey has had his fair share of overreacting people but they had better reasons than this! Bailey fumbled with words of comfort for Mr. Kazuki. "W-Well, I'm sure you'll find plenty of other people to battle with..." he said comfortingly, his smile a tad awkward and confused. His tone was uneasy as he watched Mr. Kazuki's tears fall. Mr. Kazuki sure is sensitive!

[Kazuki]

"But your..." Kazuki hiccuped, "I-I wanted to have fun with you...I did.." he said, still wiping his tears, the young Zorua's tail drooped. "I-Im sorry...i must be troubling you.." he sniffed, but tears continued to run down his cheeks, what was he to do now...he looked at Bailey, but soon turned away, his face sadden and red.

[Bailey]

He chuckled lightly. "Oh Mr. Kazuki, there are plenty of ways to have fun without battling!" (No pun intended >w>;;) He stood up and went to Mr. Kazuki's red face and wipe the tears away with his hand. He then lightly ruffled his hair. Honestly, it felt kind of strange to comfort a grown man for such a peculiar reason but Bailey didn't mind.

[Kazuki]

T-This guy must hate battling that much to still not give in to my 'Fake Tears' attack... Kazuki thought, as Bailey wiped his so called tears. "I-I guess so," he said, continuing to play along as his tears stopped, he sniffed, thinking this might be a good opportunity after all, his tail shot up, "What kind of fun~?" he asked, thinking the only type of fun was to play around with kids and not in the way most people would think. (XD)

[Bailey]

My what a quick change in attitude! Perhaps he had been tricked? Hmm... well probably not! Surely Mr. Kazuki is a nice guy! Why, he just wants to play around! Bailey wasn't clear on Mr. Kazuki's motivation to have fun with him but well Bailey's just that naive. "Who knows?" he said jokingly. "What did you have in mind?"

[Kazuki]

He only had one thing in mind, being the pervert he was, and Bailey wasn't bad looking, he was actually cute~ But still, he was Rekuza, which was the only wall stopping him from making a move. He thought for a moment, what could they do...what could two teachers from different schools do in a city as wide as this one.

"We could go the park...or fishing-" he started pondering aloud, then looked at Bailey, "Or maybe..." he smiled sweetly, "A tour of Rekuza~"

[Bailey]

To be honest, Bailey didn't really care for mundane hobbies or tours. He's done those for thousands of years. However, he didn't want to hurt Mr. Kazuki's feelings again. If he really did hurt them to begin with. So he might as well allow Mr. Kazuki to have his way. "Whatever you'd like to do," he said pleasantly.

[Kazuki]

He would say no to battling, but yes to everything else? Kazuki thought, suddenly losing interest in Rekuza. He sighed, scratching his head, "Forget it...Let's go to the park..." he said, thinking he might as well play somewhere near Teokis, he walks toward the exit, glancing back to see if Bailey was following.

[Bailey]

"Well alright," he said and took a sip of his lemonade once more before setting it down on the table. He stood up slowly and made his way towards the exit.

Stepping outside the little building, Kazuki takes a breath of the fresh air, the sun was already sinking, causing a long shadow behind Kazuki, it sure felt like a perfect day for a walk in the park. "You wanna walk there or take the train?" he turned to see Bailey right next to him, he blinked.
